Kanbus

Use case

Runs on S3 and DynamoDB in the cloud (preview)

Put a board inside your own product

Some products need a work queue of their own, such as a CRM's follow-ups or a support desk's tickets. The Kanbus API and board components provide one.

The problem

Building task tracking into a product means designing a data model, an API with safe concurrent writes, and a board UI, before any of the product's real work begins.

How Kanbus helps

The S3 and DynamoDB backend gives your app an HTTP API over issues stored in S3, with a DynamoDB catalog for fast boards and filters, and @kanbus/ui renders the board with the same components the console uses. Your app chooses the types, statuses and custom fields that fit its domain. Writes are revision-checked and safe to retry.

Anthus's Prospectus app uses it this way, as the foundation for its own board.
